About Us
Clear Connect Logistics was founded in 2019 by Anne Babish along with her brother, Matt McAneny. Clear Connect Logistics is an independent 3PL (Third Party Logistics) non-asset-based freight broker.
This means we review all details, deadlines and special requirements on each shipment for each customer. We then reach out and negotiate the most favorable rates from qualified carriers. We provide personal support through ongoing communication with our customers and designated shippers. We proactively manage any issue that may occur. We are a young, hungry company, not afraid of negotiation or hard work on behalf of our clients. As an Independent Landstar Agency, we are connected to over 90,000 heavy haul and specialized capacity providers. We can provide the transportation solution you need – by land, sea or air. Anne has 11 years experience working for her family’s food wholesale business in west central Pennsylvania. She began as a part-time clerk, and after college moved into direct sales support in ordering and expediting. She next became an integral member of the company’s buying team, where she managed Candy/Snacks, Food Service and HBC categories and was responsible for maintaining a 98.5% customer fill rate.
Over the years, Anne built cordial and efficient working relationships with a wide variety of national and regional suppliers. She worked closely with warehouse staff, often arranging rapid cross country transportation of in-demand items directly to her customers. She learned the advantages of back-haul opportunities and the importance of effective freight handling. Now in an entrepreneurial role with Clear Connect Logistics, Anne is eager to put her experience to work for you.
Matt McAneny, Vice President/COO
Matt McAneny, Vice President/COO
Matt spent 18 years in various positions in his family’s food wholesale business before launching Clear Connect Logistics.
He served six years as Operations Manager of a 130,000 sq. ft. grocery warehouse with responsibility for all shipping and receiving. This included overseeing 96 employees. Matt coordinated inventory of dry, frozen and refrigerated items, working to insure customer satisfaction, while striving to minimize loss and maximize profitability.
Matt also worked on several capital expansion projects, and he helped implement new technology systems to help warehouse operations mesh with transportation, purchasing, and sales departments.
Earlier in his career, Matt was a shift supervisor, first for day, and later for night warehouse shifts. Through college, Matt spent four years as a Professional Class A CDL Truck Driver, and he continues to maintain his CDL today.
Matt’s personal experience in both the shipping and receiving sides of the freight business has given him a deep understanding of customer needs and carrier concerns.
